This is one of the best cartridge bearing headsets available, with the secure GripNut locking mechanism. This is a threaded collet on the inside of the top part of the assembly, which compresses against the fork steerer threads for a secure grip. Standard headset wrenches handle the job of adjusting this unit. Made from polished and anodized 7075 aluminum with King's proprietary, user-serviceable, stainless steel cartridge bearings. Very strong and light.
